Ambisonic Systems Outdoor Audio
Outdoor sound should feel full and evenly distributed without asking the landscape to look like a concert venue. Wiretech uses Ambisonic Systems loudspeakers and subwoofers to create high-performance audio that disappears into the architecture and planting plan.
Local design, programming, and support
High-output outdoor sound, planned as part of the landscape.
Wiretech coordinates coverage, loudspeaker and subwoofer locations, amplification, wiring, control, planting, hardscape, and final tuning so large outdoor areas sound consistent while the equipment remains visually quiet.
Outdoor Audio Designed for Even Coverage
A great outdoor system does not rely on one or two loud speakers aimed across the yard. It uses carefully placed loudspeakers and subwoofers to distribute sound close to the listeners, keeping music clear and balanced across patios, pools, lawns, courtyards, and entertaining areas.
Wiretech maps the zones, seating, gathering areas, property edges, elevation changes, structures, and landscape conditions before defining the system. The result is stronger coverage at comfortable listening levels, better bass consistency, and less unwanted sound beyond the spaces being used.
- High-output landscape loudspeakers and outdoor subwoofers
- Coverage planning for patios, pools, lawns, courtyards, and large estates
- Amplification, zoning, source, and control-system design
- Placement coordinated with architecture, hardscape, irrigation, and planting
Installed at the Entertainer's Estate
At The Entertainer's Estate shown above, Wiretech integrated Ambisonic Systems landscape loudspeakers directly into the palm and desert-rock beds surrounding the outdoor entertainment areas. The dark enclosures sit low in the landscape while directing sound toward the spaces where guests gather.
The installation was planned around the waterslide structure, circulation paths, planting, hardscape, and sightlines. That coordination lets the audio deliver impact across the property without competing visually with the architecture or the landscape design.
Modern Art Residence is a second featured Wiretech project with Ambisonic outdoor speakers, integrated into a Crestron Home system that also includes Sony televisions, Origin Acoustics interior speakers, private cinema, centralized lighting, and structured networking.
Infrastructure Protected Before the Landscape Is Finished
Outdoor audio depends on wire routes, conduit, drainage, equipment locations, amplifier capacity, electrical coordination, and service access. Resolving those details before concrete, stone, planting, and irrigation are complete protects performance and prevents avoidable disruption later.
For new construction and major landscape projects, Wiretech works with the builder, landscape architect, pool contractor, electrician, and irrigation team. For existing properties, we survey practical pathways and use the least disruptive route that still leaves the system serviceable.
Simple Control and Final Tuning
Ambisonic Systems outdoor audio can be part of a whole-home music system or operate as dedicated entertainment zones. Wiretech coordinates sources, volume ranges, presets, schedules, and compatible Crestron Home or Control4 control so the homeowner can use the space without managing separate equipment.
After construction and planting are complete, we verify every loudspeaker, balance the zones, set safe operating limits, tune bass response, test coverage, and train the homeowner. Our local team remains available for seasonal refinements, service, and future expansion.
Common questions
Does Wiretech install Ambisonic Systems outdoor audio in St. George?
Yes. Wiretech designs, installs, calibrates, integrates, and supports Ambisonic Systems landscape audio throughout St. George, Washington County, Iron County, and Southern Utah.
How many outdoor speakers does a property need?
The right quantity depends on the size and shape of the listening areas, desired volume, landscape conditions, neighboring properties, and where people gather. Wiretech creates a coverage plan rather than applying one standard speaker count to every yard.
Can landscape speakers and subwoofers stay outside year-round?
Ambisonic Systems products intended for permanent outdoor installation are engineered for exposed environments when installed according to the manufacturer's requirements. Wiretech also plans drainage, connections, placement, and service access for Southern Utah conditions.
Can Ambisonic outdoor audio integrate with Crestron Home or Control4?
Yes. Wiretech can coordinate compatible amplification and sources with Crestron Home or Control4 so outdoor zones, volume, favorites, and scenes are available through the same whole-home experience.
