Custom Home Theater Design

A serious theater is designed as a room, not assembled from a list of equipment. Sony or Samsung video, Origin Acoustics speakers, acoustics, lighting, shades, seating, ventilation, and control all have to support one another.

Engineered for the Room

Wiretech evaluates viewing distance, sight lines, room dimensions, ambient light, acoustic behavior, speaker placement, equipment ventilation, and how the space will be used. That engineering determines the right display or projection system, speaker layout, amplification, processing, and acoustic treatment.

Dedicated theaters can be optimized for reference performance. Multipurpose media rooms balance performance with windows, furnishings, circulation, and everyday living.

Performance without Complexity

A single remote or touchscreen starts the system, selects the source, sets the volume, adjusts lighting, and controls the experience. Equipment can be located out of sight in a properly designed rack while service access remains straightforward.

  • Dedicated theaters and multipurpose media rooms
  • Dolby Atmos surround sound
  • Projection systems and premium displays
  • Acoustic treatment and sound isolation coordination
  • Lighting, shades, and one-touch control

Music Beyond the Theater

The same attention to speaker placement, room interaction, and control extends to listening rooms, great rooms, outdoor entertainment areas, and distributed audio throughout the home.

Do I need a dedicated room for a great theater?

No. A dedicated room provides maximum control, but an excellent media room can be designed around the architecture and daily use of a shared space.

When should theater design begin?

Before framing and mechanical coordination whenever possible. Speaker locations, risers, projector throws, screen walls, HVAC noise, isolation, lighting, power, and conduit all affect the result.
