How do I choose between Crestron Home, Control4 and Savant?
All three are capable platforms. The right choice depends on project scale, preferred controls, compatible subsystems, design expectations and budget. Wiretech evaluates those factors before recommending a platform.
Can smart-home automation be added to an existing home?
Yes. Many lighting, shade, audio, video, climate, and surveillance upgrades can be completed with a combination of existing wiring, selective new wiring, and carefully chosen wireless products.
How much does a professionally installed smart home cost?
The budget depends on the number of rooms, lighting loads, shade openings, audio zones, interfaces and systems being integrated. New wiring, existing-system repairs and programming also affect the scope. Wiretech develops a project-specific proposal after reviewing the plans or home; square footage alone is not a reliable price guide.
Can Wiretech take over an existing Crestron Home or Control4 system?
We begin with an assessment of the processor, network, connected equipment, software, documentation and programming access. That establishes what can be retained, what needs attention and whether repair, reprogramming or replacement is appropriate.
What should I bring to a smart home consultation?
Bring floor plans if available, your construction schedule, the rooms and functions you want to control, and an investment range. For an existing home, photographs and model numbers of current equipment help us prepare. Your builder or designer can join the planning conversation.
